We did such a good job at getting the community involved and interested in GvG, so A.Net decided to do thier part and eliminate rank discrimination in GvG once and for all!!!

DTC and cOre decided to play silly builds on an unfrozen ladder yes.

A1: lots of complaints about botting
A2: no response from Anet
R: surprise update with a huge fix and CR bombardment

B1: seemingly random ladder freeze, with 'achievement service disabled', complaints
B2: no response from Anet
R: ?

Even though A doesn't equal B, one can hope!

Anet doesn't respond to to issues more often than not. Trying to compare two completely unrelated events separated by many months is moronic at best.

How rude, you seem upset? As pvp is on the nomination to get a general update, and the ladder doesn't just randomly freeze (or does it?); it is entirely conceivable that the accidental gvg change is related to an upcoming update.

In both cases the effects are quite major, and the lack of information is odd. We'll see what happens.

The lack of information isn't odd, in fact it's the norm. Don't get excited, more likely than not there was a minor server issue that caused the problem.

Oddly enough, the ATs were the one place where the Ladder was working correctly.

Do you have any further explanation of what happened?
